For as long as I can remember, my mom has been making art (she even taught the art class at my elementary school for a few years). In retirement, she has been able to devote more time to painting (mostly watercolors, but other media as well). I know that it is something she enjoys, and when I visit her I get to enjoy it as well. With a little bit of effort, I convinced her to put of few of her paintings "on the web" so that other people can see and appreciate them.
